  • The tour starts at the Victoria Palace Theatre. This is opposite Victoria Station. The address of the Victoria Palace Theatre is Victoria Street, London SW1E 5EA. If using Google/Apple maps search 'Victoria Palace Theatre'. On arrival look for your tour guide holding a yellow umbrella. Your tour guide will be at the clock in front of the theatre.
  • The ceremony can be altered at any time at the discretion of the British Army. In bad weather the British Army may do a 'Wet Change'. This is a shorter version of the Changing of the Guard ceremony without music. This will be decided by the British Army on the morning of the ceremony.
  • This tour does not go to the front gates of Buckingham Palace. No tours go to the front gates due to crowds and because you will miss most of the ceremony! This award winning tour will take you around the Royal Palaces for the best views of the guards and the ceremony. If you wish to go to the front gates of Buckingham Palace then do not book this tour.
  • The tour is not suitable for wheelchairs, walking difficulties or prams/strollers/buggies.

Tour was great, we saw everything regarding change of the guard. Also we learned about London, monarchy, traditions nad history. It wasn't boring, but very entertaining. Our guide was Rachel and she was awesome. Really made this tour fun and interesting. If you want to go and see change of guard I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic way to see the changing of the guard in a place where they know you will get a good view. Our guides were great and they even found out that there was going to be a special ceremony the day we were there and changed the plan so we could see what was happening. We were so lucky to have front row places to see Princess Kate as she honored the Irish guard! We definitely would have missed this if we had gone on our own. It's a reasonably priced tour and we'll worth it just to avoid the crowds and know where to go.

Rachel was an incredible guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the changing of the guard and answered all of our groups questions. We even got lucky and got to see Princess Kate! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting London.

Our guide Rachel was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the history behind the ceremony and got us directly in front of where the guards march by. We had a great view and a surprise Princess Catherine sighting which made the whole tour that much better. Highly recommend!
