Overview

Take a ride on a panoramic bus with a glass top in order to enjoy the wonderful view of the Alps mountains. Enjoy a cable car full of sensation and a mountain cogwheel to see the glacier. A once in a lifetime experience. The cable car will take you up 3842 meters, you have access to different terraces, you will just across the majestic Mont Blanc to snap a picture. For lunch, have free time and try a typical savoy speciality. Explore the stunning mountain resort before ridind the mountain train to the Ice of Sea: largest french glacier.

There is a sign for excursion at the geneva bus station, our office is also situated just across on the 8 rue François Bonivard. The bus has the name of the tour with the brand Swisstours on it.

Aiguille du Midi

Ride up the cable car and discover a spectacular panoramic view of the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps at 3842m ! On a clear day, you may even see the Mattherhorn, the famous Swiss peak and icon of Switzerland – it’s even found on packages of delicious Toblerone chocolate. If it’s open, you can try the unique adventure: "Step into the Void" BREATHTAKING!

Montenvers – Mer De Glace

Board the charming red cog railway up to Montenvers, you’ll enjoy fabulous views of Mer de Glace. This magnificent glacier is 4 miles (7km) long and averages just under a mile wide. Surrounded by the impressive summits of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses and Les Grands Charmoz, The Montenvers site is a natural living witness of climate change of our era.

Please note that if you take the Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace options, you will be provided with a multipass. Multipass which gives access to all the facilities of the Mont Blanc company. If you use this Multipass for a single activity, it will be considered by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc as used and cannot be refunded if the other activities are closed. The Mont Blanc company offers alternative activities but does not authorize refunds of the multipass.
The train tickets includes the ice caves and the gondola ( but these are not garanteed), the train can be open and not the cave, there is no refund is so because it's the same price
The operation of the Aiguille du Midi cable car and Mer de Glace train are both subject to local weather conditions on the day. We cannot know if they open before we arrive there, it's a risk to take
If one of the activity closes, there will be alternative offers, or partial refunds, but the transports won't be refunded in any case
Please note that the official currency of France is the EURO. Swiss francs are unlikely to be accepted in Chamonix
Please note: guide will be present with you on the bus and the village. You will have free time in the cable car or train and the guide will meet you after.

Incredible day, views and experience was unforgettable. We did the full package and worth the money. It is a very busy day but worth it! Tour guides were great and friendly as well, very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend the trip!

Excellent tour, we had a fabulous day and met some wonderful people on our trip. Tour guide was first class. Very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the train ride to glazier and cable car up to ski slopes. Chamonix is a beautiful town, very picturesque. We had a very enjoyable day. I would advise to wrap up warm and wear walking boots, as it is very cold and slippery. Some of the tour guests were wearing trainers and jeans and were very cold and wet.

I had an amazing trip from Geneva to Chamonix. Although the glacier train ended up being closed (at no fault to KeyTours), the alternate activities planned by our amazing tour guide more than made up for it. Everyone from the office to our tour guide was amazing. I would definitely book with this company again.

Friendly and knowledge tour guide Chris. He looked after the group and gave us step by step instructions. He was enthusiastic and knew the Chamonix area well as he lived in a nearby village. Amazing mountain views
