Overview

Test the capabilities of the Jeep and get the full off-road experience as you crawl up the beautifully forested bumpy trails into the mountains of Margaree Valley. Weave through ATV trails, splash through puddles and most importently, HAVE FUN when your guides puts the Jeep to the test in our private terrain park. Each tour is unique due to the changing colors of the mountains and the diversity of wildlife, offering new paths for exploration. Every tour is private, aiming to give you the best experience possible!

We are 1hr-30 min from the Cruise Port. Contact to request special pick up. Turn off Highway 105 (Exit 7) to Cabot Trail Highway. Drive The Cabot Trail for 32km until Two Macs Gallery. You are welcome inside the Gallery to browse or shop but please do not plan to wait for your guide inside the shop

    Cruise along the world-famous Margaree River, climb ATV trails to backcountry cabins, and visit beautiful mountain vistas as you explore the scenic backcountry of the honey hole of Cape Breton, known as the Margaree Valley!

Muddy Puddles!

My teenage son and I booked the "Adventure Seeker" and it was perfect! I have a touch of nerves from heights and my son has down syndrome. We asked for muddy puddles and we got LOTS, plus amazing views from multiple spots in the Margaree Valley. Views that I would never have been able to get to otherwise. No problem with my nerves from the trails Mac chose. I only took one photo, at the beginning of the adventure, because I totally forgot about my phone for the rest of the tour!

Get off the beaten path with Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures

Mac is great. Very knowledgeable about the area but more importantly fun. He knows his stuff. Not only did we get some interesting history, but we also stopped to go swimming next to a bridge. It was beautiful. I highly recommend getting off the beaten path with Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures. It's different and just enough adrenalin to make you feel like you did something really cool.

Awesome Winter Adventure in Cape Breton

My fiance got me this as a birthday gift (We are both new to the area) and we didn't really know what to expect. I am super happy that we ended up doing it, as we had an amazing time. First, Mac is an absolute professional. Having spent years giving tours out west, not only does he have a wealth of knowledge to draw on, but also the necessary skills to keep you safe in the event of an emergency. In addition, his personal connection to the area makes him a great storyteller, and a very captivating tour guide. We we're one of the first couples to test the tour out in the winter, and it did not disappoint. Touring around the Valley, Mac took us to some beautiful ocean views, mountains, and other look offs not well known / or generally accessible to the public. While we couldn't enjoy swimming, Mac was prepared and we ended up snow shoeing on a mountain trail, which looked off a beautiful view of the valley. All in all I would recommend this tour to anyone- young/ old couples, families with kids, etc. If communicated in advance, Mac will do his best to tailor the tour to fit your interests (Weather you want an adventure, see wildlife, or just a casual day). We will definitely be coming back, and hope to experience all the different tours that Cape Breton Backcounrty has to offer.
