We offer an all inclusive tour. No extra entrance fees or other surprises. Our guides are professional and are passionate about nature. We take our time to let you enjoy and take pictures. We have more than 25 years professional guiding and touring experience.

Itinerary

  • Cango Caves

    After departure in Oudtshoorn, we will inform you about the beautiful history of Oudtshoorn and the rich agriculture of the surrounding. As we arrive at the famous Cango Caves, we go on the one hour heritage tour.

  • Swartberg Pass

    We leave the caves and will soon start our ascent on the Swartberg Mountain Pass. We will speak about the pass, the fauna, flora and the amazing Geology of the mountains around us. We take enough time to enjoy the scenery and photo-shoots. The time for a small walk is always available.

  • N/A

    We stop in Prince Albert and give our guests some time for a little walk through the picturesque town. For those who cannot walk or find the weather to hot, we will drive and do some site seeing from our air-conditioned vehicle.

  • Meiringspoort Pass

    We leave Prince Albert and drive deeper in the Karoo, the nice long distant views and desolated areas will take us away...just like a dream. On a certain moment we descent to Meiringspoort, a beautiful canyon meandering through the Swartberg Mountain range. We stop at the waterfall in Meiringspoort.

  • Meiringspoort Waterfall

    A short walk will bring us to the Meiringspoort Waterfall. On warm days we will give you the opportunity to go for a swim. There are bathrooms to change. There after we will drive through the small town of De Rust and continue our way to Oudtshoorn.

An amazing experience

An amazing experience The service and arrangements for the tour w ere first class and executed faultlessly. Roelend our guide was very friendly and made as many stops for pictures as we wanted as long as it was safe to do so. He was also a mind of information regarding the Flora and Forner of the route. We saw Baboons, water buffalo, springbok and ostriches during the tour and always had the opportunity to stop to get some pictures. Many thanks and if we have any friends visiting South Africa we will be sure to tell them to get in touch for a wonderful day out at a reasonable cost.

We had a super enjoyable private tour with our very knowledgeable guide Roeland. Even in sometimes cold and misty weather, the Swartbergpas is absolutely amazing. Roeland knows a lot about the area and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. We also had a very nice lunch in the charming little town of Prince Albert. Would definitely recommend!

A fantastic day with Roeland. His knowledge, enthusiasm, guidance and expertise were faultless. He made the day so interesting and informative. You must go to the Swartberg Mountain with the most friendly guide: Roeland and his driver. He tells you everything there is to know about the beautiful surroundings. We can write a long recommendation, but the best tip we can give you is to experience it yourself: it’s worth every Rand. Note for parents with teenagers: Roeland makes the tour so entertaining the children won’t need their mobile phones for the whole day. Gijs, Caroliene, Charlotte and Anne
