If you are looking for an amazing experience with spectacular views, visit the breathtaking path of El Caminito del Rey 'The King’s Little Pathway.' Walk along the narrow bridge suspended over the Guadalhorce river. Make the most of your time with a 10-hour day-trip from convenient central Costa del Sol pickup points.   • Costa del Sol

    Board one of our air-conditioned coaches from Costa del Sol. Remember to reconfirm your details at least 48h before the activity! Will be departing from Marbella, Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Malaga. From there, sit back and relax on your journey to the Caminito del Rey.

  • Rio Guadalhorce Nature Reserve (Pass By)

    During the route, enjoy the views and natural landscapes that you will cross, such as Sierra de Alcaparaín, where you will see extensive orange tree plantations and several Andalusian white villages.

  • Ardales

    Just 9km from Caminito del Rey, we will make a stop of approximately one hour, in the picturesque town of Ardales where you will have free time to visit it at your leisure. At this stop, you can stretch your legs, have a snack and recharge your batteries before starting the Caminito del Rey hiking trail.

  • El Caminito del Rey

    The construction of a water channel from the reservoirs in the north to El Chorro was carried out together with a path for maintaining the channel. This one is known as El Caminito del Rey (The King’s Little Pathway) because it was first opened by King Alfonso XIII. This path, about 3 kilometers long, has stretched of less than 1 meter wide and it is hanging about 100 meters high above the Guadalhorce River.

This is almost a must do if you’re in the Costa del Sol area. Beautiful views. Pablo was an excellent tour guide, talking about all aspects of the area from nature to history.

El Caminito del Rey was fantastic. Beautiful vistas and amazing walk. Andarles was ok. We got there early and not many places open.

A must see - Caminito del Rey w Julia Travel

We had an incredible trip to the Caminito del Rey! Our guide on the hike, Lucia, was so informative, patient, and well-organized. Not only did she take time to point out interesting features in the canyon (even spotted birds for us!) and tell us about all the history, she made a point to prepare us for every step of the hike and remind us to stay hydrated, plus took photos for us. In spite of the daunting heights, the views are totally worth it--it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our Julia travel guide on the bus (Cesar), was wonderful. He also made a point to prepare us for each step of the trip, down to recommending a lovely local breakfast stop in Ardales (beautiful white-washed village where we had the chance to eat and wander before the hike), and pointing out interesting sights on the ride home. If you plan to do this stunning hike, I can't recommend Julia enough--we learned so much that enhanced the experience, and our guides took such good care of us (we noticed other tour groups being rushed through the hike and on/off their buses).

Great day exploring the Caminito. Guy was very knowledgeable and organized. It was a long hike but very interesting…..I would do it again.
