Overview

This tour combines the excitement of e-biking with the thrill of hiking the Cholla Trail. We ride to the Greenbelt bike path, an amazing gold star rated path. At almost every turn there are mountain views and bodies of water in our view. After a few miles of riding, we'll cross the Arizona canal and ride into Paradise Valley, the most expensive zip code in area. Celebrities, professional athletes and business magnates live there. As we safely ride on a meticulously designed route, we'll travel on slow safe streets through Paradise Valley to the Cholla Trail head on Camelback mountain. This is the most popular easy hiking trail in all of Scottsdale. This is an easy hike and gives you the chance to experiences Camelback without getting worn out and tired. Once we finished our hike, we're back on the bike path headed toward McCormick Ranch. We'll see hidden gems and learn some fun facts in McCormick Ranch that you would definitely miss without a tour guide.

Itinerary

  • Scottsdale (Pass By)

    Our tour starts at our office in Old Town Scottsdale. We start the tour by riding 3 blocks to the Greenbelt Bike Path.

  • Continental Golf Club (Pass By)

    We ride the bike path along side a the Continental Golf Club. It's really nice!

  • Arizona Canal (Pass By)

    We cross the Arizona Canal towards Paradise Valley.

  • Paradise Valley (Pass By)

    We ride on slow, safe and chill streets past homes that range from $5 million to $17 million. This is the most expensive zip code in Arizona. It's exclusive and beautiful!

  • Camelback Mountain

    We stop at the trail head of the Cholla Trail and park our E-Bikes before going on an easy hike. There are restrooms at the trail head as well.

  • Cholla Trail (Pass By)

    This is the most popular "easy" trail in all of Phoenix. We hike to marker #7 or #11.

  • Arizona Canal (Pass By)

    We link up with the Arizona Canal and E-Bike towards McCormick Ranch.

  • McCormick Ranch Golf Club (Pass By)

    This is a gorgeous club with amazing landscape. We ride alongside it.

  • N/A (Pass By)

    If we have time, we visit a Lake Marguerite, a hidden gem in Scottsdale.

    We head back to our store in Old Town Scottsdale.

This was a really fun tour! The e-bikes were easy to ride and the hiking at Camelback mountain provided a nice break. Our guide, Jackson was very knowledgeable of Scottsdale and it's history and was funny, too! Both my husband and I enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Scottsdale area!

We had a Nice bike ride, we could have used more time on the mountain but I understand the time limitations - Jason and Matt were great.
