Overview

12 years of experience in Japanese calligraphy, qualified as a calligraphy instructor. Come and get an opportunity to enjoy Kanji drawing with me! You can experience Japanese culture by learning and drawing a Kanji on a T-shirt. Each kanji has a meaning that you are welcome to study. i also offer the possibility of choosing between a single class drawing Japanese on t-shirt, or to choose the drawing kanji on a lantern, or, on the Japanese traditional umbrellas, all are very attractive and fun experience for everyone. I offer something that is a unique experience. I am an English teacher for the Japanese people, so you will get all the instructions in English.

Itinerary

First, guests choose a T-shirt from the black and white options and sizes from women M and L to men XXXL and kanji letters from the menu, then also choose an ink color from our lots of options. Then try to draw it on the shirt with a soft chackle pencile. With your request, the same kanji can be drawn in front of you as a sample to copy off, and you can also take it home. When you think it looks good enough, with some advice from me, then try to paint the kanji with the ink that you have also chosen from our several options. When the kanji is drawn on the t-shirt, extra ink should be removed with thin sheets of paper over the kanji. The T-shirt hangs up to dry while you enjoy Japanese mochi sweets of a few kinds with Matcha Japanese tea. You can either put the shirt on or take it home folded in a plastic bag. We also offer the same activity for doing it on lanterns, the same procedure as for the T-shirts, and at the end you will have a nice gift made by your own hands in a far-away Japan. At the end of the course, you will have a surprise with a free gift. Both activities take about 1 hour, with full guidance from Yoko san.

Funny idea on a t shirts

Me and my partner tried the other activity, learning how to make the sushi ... but we will come back for trying the Kanji on the t shirt. we will write something to each other without telling... would be fun.

i tried to replicate my first Kangi, was a nice try but far from being perfect... Funny and relaxing to talking to the owner, a Japanese lady, English speaker, we have learne a lot about japan real life. It's worth to try!

There isn't enough stars to say how amazing this was. The sweet lady who hosted the event was one of the nicest people I've met in my life, let alone Japan. She was very accommodating and hand made a Kanji I wanted to do for me on the spot. She was a fantastic conversationalist, insightful and funny, made it even better. She served little homemade snacks and tea, then to top it off, gave me some extra hand made gifts she made herself. The activity was a LOT of fun and she was very helpful. I can't stress enough how much you should do this activity while in Japan. You genuinely will not regret it.

What a wonderful host and experience. I had such a beautiful time creating my very own t shirt as well as learning about calligraphy. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to meet such a lovely host and have a unique and personalised experience.
