Overview

Studio W.I.P. by Native 312 Events offers a unique spin on BYOB paint night! Join us as we host an intimate look into the world of Street Art as we learn about some different styles and techniques with guest artists. Then you get your hands dirty as you walk around our gallery setting and test out your skills in different mediums like aerosol spray and stencil. At the end of your workshop you will be able to go home with your own piece of art!

Looking for a fun and unique way to tap into your creativity? Well, get ready to grab some spray paint and unleash your inner street artist with Studio W.I.P. Chicago. This interactive workshop will allow you the opportunity to explore the in's and out's of working with spray paint and other elements of Street Art. Not the most creatively inclined person? Have no fear, this workshop will be curated by Studio W.I.P. artists. Also BYOB! Best of all, at the end of the workshop you get to choose mini-canvas from the communal wall to take home with you! Graffiti is the best art form

Justin was a wonderful teacher. He gave us an efficient, easily digestible lesson of techniques for spray painting and then encouraged us to use them with our own creative tilt, while teaching us the importance of destigmatizing the art form. It was a supportive, exiting, singular experience.

We had a large group of 9 and they had no problem accommodating us. It was the best thing we did in Chicago. None of us had experience spray-painting, but the instruction and materials were excellent. A lot of fun and a good value.
