Overview

A unique opportunity to visit Butterfly Valley by comfortable minibus and taste the best local wine, olive oil and honey with our local authorized English speaking guide. On this tour you will taste different wine varieties, extra-virgin olive oil from ancient olive trees (yes, you read it right - sample the same oil that our ancestors used centuries ago), and local natural honey infused with thyme, pine, orange blossom and different spring flowers. Before the tasting tour, you can enjoy some free time at Butterfly Valley. Every year, at the end of the wet season (late May), thousands of butterflies attracted by the scent of the oriental sweet-gum trees cover the entire landscape. It's a very unique experience and you should definitely try to see it.

    Before the tasting tour, you can enjoy some free time at Butterfly Valley. Every year, at the end of the wet season (late May), thousands of butterflies attracted by the scent of the oriental sweet-gum trees cover the entire landscape. It's a very unique experience and you should definitely try to see it.

Very informative guide making it a really relaxing tour away from resorts and beaches. It was great to learn some history around the wine / olive oil / honey production.

Although we were out of season for butterflies, I enjoyed the walk through the valley, it was a great change of scenery. The tastings were all well organised and our guide was really Informative and knowledgeable. I found it a really relaxing and enjoyable tour. I would happily book with this company again. I found them on the Viatour website.

Outstanding tour! Our driver, Vitaile, was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable. We stopped here for the day on a cruise, and when we got back to the ship and listened to everyone's comments about their day, we clearly had the BEST day!
