Walk across the seemingly endless salt crust, capturing panoramic photos and experiencing the awe-inspiring flatness that makes the Bonneville Salt Flats so legendary. Learn about the land speed racing that takes place here, where legendary feats of speed were achieved. We offer this tour in the morning and afternoon to best suit your schedule. Each tour last six hours (including the drive from and back to Salt Lake City) and provides ample time to explore the Salt Flats, with stops at Great Salt Lake State Park and the Tree of Life sculpture – a captivating landmark standing amidst the vast desert landscape.

Dmytro is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable with historical facts and helpful with taking pictures. He really brought the Utah story to life. I highly recommend you take this tour especially with him.

My wife and I had a great time on our tour! Our guide David was the best! His knowledge of the stops and the state of Utah as a whole was impressive and very informative. This trip was so worth it for us and I would highly recommend it!

The Salt Flats and Great Salt Lake are absolutely breathtaking. Their vastness and untamed beauty make you feel as though you’ve stepped onto another planet. Our guide was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, proactively taking numerous photos for us to capture the experience.

Michelle was fantastic! I was thankful that the trip was not canceled even though I was the only one on the tour. One to one tour was incredible. Learned a lot about Salt Lake City history and enjoyed the scenery. Salt lake was beautiful and the experience of walking on the salt was fun.

We had a small tour group which made it really easy to make friends with the other tourists. Our tour guide was great! She had interesting information to tell us along the way. She offered us little containers to collect a small amount of salt to take home. Because of the small group, she was able to offer us options for our time spent in each place. I would definitely recommend Southwest Adventure Tours while in SLC. We could not have asked for kinder people. I lost my wallet while out on the tour and our tour guide and the company went to great lengths to help me. You cannot beat that kind of care.
