Overview

We start with a short drive to a village pond where you can spot Lesser Whistling-Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Moorhens, and more. On the way, we'll stop at a paddy field to see Lapwings, Kingfishers, Sparrows, and Bitterns. Then, we head to Langkawi's highest peak to observe Great Hornbills, Wreathed Hornbills, and other rainforest birds, with the Great Hornbill being the largest bird in Langkawi. Afterward, we return to the hotel.

Amazing experience !

Afie was an amazing guide on our morning birdwatching tour in Langkawi! She was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to beautiful spots where we saw stunning birds. Her passion and expertise made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Kingfishering in Langkawi

As a life-long bird liker but quite recent birding hobbyist, this tour was exactly what we were looking for. We really wanted to see some kingfishers and ended up seeing three different species of them. On top of the kingfishers, we saw tens of different birds. Afie as a guide was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable. If we ever come back to Langkawi we will definitely do some more JungleWalla tours (and hopefully with Afie as our guide).

We had a great experience sighting birds on our final day in Langkawi with Junglewalla. Our guide Afie was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She took us to the best spots on the island for mangrove and rainforest bird watching and we spotted over 20 species in 4 hours. We saw all three species of the famous hornbills in a single location and Afie deserves special credit for bringing us there. Junglewalla team's pick up and drop service + accessories (binoculars) were very good too. I would recommend this to any nature lover who visits Langkawi for a relaxing time in nature. My wife and I enjoyed this experience tremendously.

Excellent afternoon birding in Langkawi

The naturalist Afie knew her stuff and we saw lots of birds in particular oriental hornbills and kingfishers as well as a field full of egrets, pond herons etc. She took us to some beautiful places and was very pleasan, knowledgeable and helpful. She had binoculars for all three of us. I would definitely recommend this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Langkawi Bird Tour

Had an amazing two day bird tour on Langkawi. Saw so many new species of birds. Afie was an amazing guide who knew where all the birds were and how to identify them. Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We even got to see both the oriental pied and great hornbills. Had some amazing views. Could not recommend a better than this if you are visiting Langkawi. Saw so many birds, and even monkeys, and a black giant squirrel, and other creatures.
