Date unveiled: 20 August 2000 Notes: Plaques in memory of all Republican prisoners from the area who have died since 1916 were unveiled on 11 March 2001. Alan was our taxi driver , Alan was very experienced and knowledgeable about the area and the troubles that occurred in Belfast from 1969 to 1998. Alan showed us an actual rubber bullet and spoke graphically and honesy about all the events that unfolded. Alan let us out of the taxi many times for pictures .

Amazing tour and guide

The guide (Michael) was incredible. He knew so much about everything we stopped at and was so nice! The tour itself was fascinating and took us to the coolest street art spots that had political propaganda on them. Also our guide brought a marker with him so we could sign our names on one of the walls where that’s become a thing!
