I attended the pasta, Ravioli and Tiramisu cooking class today with my daughter.
The venue was clean, welcoming and easy to find.
Our hostess, Alessandra, was excellent.
She made us feel welcome from the start. We were offered a welcome drink or wine, beer Prosecco or a soft drink, given some tasty snacks and skin got stuck into cooking.
For each item we cooked, Alessandra gave us valuable information of the history of the dish and handy hints and tips to tweak them to our preferences.
We started by making Tiramisu, with the option of adding nuts and chocolate. We then moved onto pasta, making both Fettucini Ravioli. We were served with a tomato Bruschetta between tasks which was very tasty.
Alexandra was helpful, patient and easy to get along with.
Once all of the making was done, we were offered another complimentary drink, and our pasta was served with our choice of sauce (discussed while cooking) and then we ate our Tiramusu for dessert.
We were so full we had to take some home. You definitely won’t leave this experience hungry!
At the end of the course we were given a link to a cookbook which contained recipes for what was made today and much more.
This was truly a, once in a lifetime experience and I would absolutely recommend making time for it in your next trip to Rome.
