    Your transfer in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus will only last about one hour and during this time your guide will tell you all about the history about this fascinating site. Wonder at the majesty of the Basilica with its gothic architecture. Montserrat, meaning “serrated mountain” is aptly named.     No trip to Montserrat is complete without laying eyes on the famous Black Madonna, believed by some to have been carved in Jerusalem in the late 12th Century. A half day tour to Montserrat

It was very good experience from meeting with the guide Elena, to the drive there to, the experience in the mountain, to come back. Elena was very informative about the history of Catalunya and gave us clear instruction about the tour details. I would recommend this tour and Elena to anyone who wants to visit Montserrat.
