Ubud Monkey Forest occupies 27 lush, green acres at the lower end of Jalan Monkey Forest in the village of Padangtegal. Tegalalang Rice Terrace which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegalalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. Tegalalang Rice Terrace alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.

Goa Gajah Temple is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants.

Our new friend Ketut showed us around Ubud. We visited the Monkey Forest, Aloha Ubud swing, the teglagan rice terrace, dined at a beautiful restaurant, went to the temple in Ubud. All along the way, Ketut shared with us wonderful history of Bali, as well as his family. I highly recommend booking with Ketut and experience his knowledge of beautiful Bali.

All the sights and experiences were out of this world. Being our first time in Bali this has been such an amazing experience. Additionally our driver Ketut Putra was awesome. I'd recommend him to anyone who doesn't know anything about the island and needs help figuring out what you want to do on your vacation.

Second time around traveling with our guide, Ngurah Anom. Last time on a solo trip and this time with friends. Very safe driver, very knowledgable about many things, language barrier not an issue because his english is good. Coordinates properly with us and there's never a dull moment on our car rides with him! Definitely recommend.
Smooth whole day tour, driver was on time, gave us advice how to manage our time, and driver was so kind!

The views were so beautiful. Nice open spaces, full of nature! Our driver Ngurah Anom was especially helpful and so so kind. He was also so energetic and knowledgable the entire time and gave the group so much laughter and interesting facts about Bali.
