The only Australian guide operating in France. This Day Tour is for Australians run by an Australian. Villers-Bretonneux, Sir John Monash Centre, Pozieres, Le Hamel etc... Come spend a day following the Australian footsteps across the Somme. Our small groups allow time for visits to a special cemetery or follow the actions of a unique soldier. Best for singles, couples or small groups. A truely Australian view of our Diggers action across the Western Front.

  • Serre Road Cemetery No.2

    The largest Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in the Somme.

  • Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial

    A Memorial Park for the Newfoundland Regiment where the battlefield has been preserved as it was, here we walk through authentic trenches used on 1st July 1916, the fist day of the Batlle of the Somme.

  • Memorial de Thiepval

    Commemorating over 73,000 missing of the British Army, mainly from the horrendous year - 1916 - the Battle of the Somme.

  • Windmill Memorial

    The highest point in the Somme. The triangle of farm fields facing the Windmill Site contain the greatest concentration of Australians fallen, from all battlefields across the Western Front.

    Pozieres is where the Australian 1st Division first went into battle on the Western Front - 23rd July 1916.

Phil also made the effort to locate a grave of a relative for a friend accompanying us which she was most grateful for.
