Our tour guide will meet guests inside the Starbucks location (914 Dallas Street, Houston, TX 77002) approximately 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. There is meter parking along Louisiana St and Milam St. and a Private Parking Garage located on 1110 Travis Street.*

We conclude our tours at Finn Hall (712 Main St., Houston, TX 77002), a popular food hall. This is 5 blocks from where our initial meeting spot and close to all the major parking garages. Our guide will be happy to walk your group back to the original tour starting spot at Starbucks per request.

    Stay in the cool air-conditioning and check out the largest downtown tunnel system in the USA with our top guides. Get a firsthand look at the oldest bank in Downtown Houston, original skyscraper in Texas, most award-winning architecture in Houston, and the most elevated pool in all of Texas. You will also see the hotel where JFK spent part of his final living evening and visit some of Houston's most popular food halls!

  • JPMorgan Chase Tower (Pass By)

    Our guests will view the tallest building in Texas from up-close. They will also be able to see a raved about sculpture by Joan Miro, the largest piece of art in his illustrious career. At this point, guests will also be able to spot the tallest pool in Texas as well as the 2nd largest Theatre District in the USA.

Beautiful, unforgettable experience of Houston’s history led by Diana, the best guide on the planet!

My mom and I have lived in the Houston area for over 24 years now, but we love exploring the city because there are so many incredible things to discover and learn about, and this tour sounded right up our alley! And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!! Diana was our tour guide; her earnest passion for art and history along with her fun, sweet nature made us feel like she was a beloved family friend we’d known for years. She possesses a very unique, rare kind of character, combining a vast breadth of knowledge, sense of humor, and engaging personality: a certain je ne sais quoi that truly enhances the entire tour experience for everyone spanning first time visitors to dyed-in-the-wool Houstonians. Her guidance through the historic tunnels and buildings was perfectly paced and accessible for everyone in our group; she was keenly attuned to both our individual and collective needs, from having a thoughtful answers to every question to making sure anyone who may have required mobility assistance felt comfortable. From my own experience living with chronic pain, I can attest to fact that although a good deal of walking is involved, I never once felt overly fatigued, rushed, or in pain. I cannot sing her praises enough—she IS the tour, and she fully embodies the inimitable spirit of the city of Houston! My mom and I learned so many new fascinating factoids about Houston through Diana’s detail-oriented wisdom, and we left the tour feeling prouder of our city than ever before. If you are someone who appreciates the beautiful artistry and historical significance of architecture, or simply wants to enjoy some of the lesser known yet iconic features of the city, I absolutely guarantee you will LOVE this tour! You undoubtedly get your money’s worth and so, so much more! Diana was amazing! She was super knowledgeable, friendly and a great guide. Highly recommend tour. We felt like we were invited to an exclusive hidden jewel under Houston. Great history of Houston buildings and tunnel network.
