Your hosts, Steph and Adam, have been exploring beautiful Magnetic Island for over 39 years, they love to share the stories, history and their connection with this island they call their home. Come as guests and leave as friends. This is transformational and personalised touring at it's best!

Meeting points

***Aquascene departs from Magnetic Island. Tickets on the ferry are not included in your tour. Please purchase ferry tickets. Once you arrive onto Magnetic Island, turn left when you walk off the ferry, walk to the outside seating area on the deck of Peppers Resort. We will meet you there. :)

Itinerary

Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us. Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline. Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you. Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

Kalvin and Anita were...

Kalvin and Anita were greats guides to the island. Kalvin went into detail about the history of all of Magnetic island and despite the recent weather really made an effort to take us to the most beautiful spots on the island. We were able to see some fish, despite there not being as much visibility on the water. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone going to magnetic island as you learn a lot about its history. In a few weeks I believe the visibility of the water will also be a lot better and you’ll be able to see more of the beautiful reefs on this island.

Excellent day on the water. Crew were so friendly, knowledgeable and ensured we stopped and snorkelled at the best bays according to the weather. They cater for all ages, and levels of swimming & snorkelling experience. Highly recommend to all. Well worth the money!

Amazing adventure, even in the wet season.

We have just moved to the Island and this was the perfect way to see Maggie Island from a different perspective. We had some bad weather to contend with, but the amazing crew rolled with it and gave us the best experience they could. Maggie is so profoundly beautiful, even in the rain. Our kids loved the adventure and thought the rough ride home was the highlight. We were not expecting a 50% refund at all, thank you to Kalvin and the crew, we will absolutely be returning for another adventure in the future.

Despite some less than ideal weather - still a great experience

Really great tour, seen a lot of the island and went to some great snorkelling spots. Kalvin our skipper and the team was great. Had some bad weather near the end of the tour but all and all was a great experience, and navigating the rougher waves was actually quite fun.

We explored the fringing reefs as part of UQ CoralWatch youth ambassador program and found the vessel and staff to be 5star. Adam and Jack are very knowledgeable and run a great program.
