Dubbed the ‘Venice of the Alps,’ the French town of Annecy is a feast for the eyes (and all the other senses, really). Board a coach in Geneva for an easy 1-hour drive to this romantic village at the base of the snowcapped Alps. Follow your guide on a brief introduction of charming Annecy Old Town to visit iconic Palais de l'Isle, Château d’Annecy and glittering Lake Annecy, the third-largest lake in France. Annecy, the “Venice of the Alps,” is absolutely magical. The Vieille Ville is full of colorful buildings, flower-lined canals, and cozy cafes—perfect for wandering. The iconic Palais de l’Isle is a must-see. Lake Annecy is stunning with its clear, turquoise waters and mountain backdrop. For the best views, head to Col de la Forclaz—the panorama is breathtaking, and you can even watch paragliders soaring above the lake. Don’t miss the local food! Try a hearty tartiflette or a fresh crepe. Annecy is perfect for relaxing or exploring. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent guide and coach services from Geneva to Annecy. A lot of walking when we reached Annecy - one particular location was very steep and not suitable for anyone who has had hip surgery. Plenty ofvtime to grab sonething tasty to est from one of the backeries, cafees or chocolate shoos. A great tour.

It was a great day out. On the way to Annecy we stopped off at the old road and bridge which offered an amazing view. Annecy itself is stunning, grwat food, nice Christmas market and some of the clearest waters I've seen.
