Don't be late!

I don't know how anyone gets around Venice without a guide. A word to the wise. Don't be late. Tour group sizes in Venice are limited. Apparently sometimes the resellers (Viator, Get Your Guide, etc.) get things confused and overbook. On our tour, some people who had booked this tour showed up late and had to be turned away because the group had reached the maximum size. If you get there on time and get to take the tour, it is very helpful.

Great short tour for a few hours in Venice. Our guide was Valentina who was really good and welcoming. It was a larger group because the earlier morning tour was cancelled - but it was still enjoyable and got loads of information and context we would not have on our own. Thank you!

We were on the 3:30 afternoon tour on Wednesday, 8/14 and had a delightful young woman as our guide-wish I could remember her name. This was a shady walk through the part of town off the beaten path. I was exhausted before the walk was over and she helped me find a boat to get back to the hotel.
