Overview

Amanohashidate in Miyazu Bay in the Sea of Japan in the northern part of Kyoto is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, along with Matsushima in Mutsu and Miyajima in Aki. It is a rare terrain with about 6,700 pines on a sandbar with a width of about 20 to 170m and a total length of about 3.6km, and it is a mysterious shape created by nature over thousands of years. You can fully customize your own itinerary in the Amanohashidate area or refer to our recommended route in the What's to Expect part. If you want to customize your own tour, please select your most favorite attractions in the Amanohashidate area and share your other special requests with us. If you can't find your address on Google Maps, you can enter the details of your location in the blank, Thank you for your cooperation. We provide departing from Osaka or Kyoto. (Attention: we can only pick up customers live in urban areas.) We will contact you to confirm the tour details in advance. (For example: the number of passengers and the quantity of your luggage. The luggage defaults to 24 inches.) One day before the trip, you will receive the phone number of your driver for your convenience. What To Expect

1. Amanohashidate The Amanohashidate in Kyoto, Japan, attracts tourists with its stunning natural beauty, including a pine-covered sandbar stretching across Miyazu Bay, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. 2 hours

2. Chion-ji Temple Chion-ji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, draws tourists with its grand architecture, serene gardens, and rich cultural heritage, providing a captivating glimpse into Japan's religious and architectural history. 1 hour

3. Ine bay, its natural beauty and rich ecosystem are recognized around the world, is the member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club and the sister bay of Mont Saint-Michel in France. Ine town is also a member of the federation of “Les plus beaux villages de la terre”. Ine no hunaya Houses are two-story boat houses. The first floor is a boat garage and the second floor is a residence area. In Ine, 230 Funaya houses stand lined up in a row for 5km. There are sightseeing boats operated by us that go around inside the bay, and it takes about 25 minutes. You can enjoy the landscape of ”Funaya” from the sea, while you are on the boat. If you’re lucky enough, you can also feed many seabirds fly close to the boat. 1 hour

Ine no Funaya Funaya is a unique building where the first floor part is the sea (boat storage area) and the second floor part is a residential space, and recently it has been used for guest rooms and inns. In Ine Bay, this boathouse is lined up for 5 km, and it has been selected as a "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings" in the country. Because "Aoshima" at the entrance of Ine Bay plays the role of a breakwater, it is less affected by the wind, the waves are calm, and the scenery where time flows slowly is somewhat nostalgic, and the beauty that makes you feel the original scenery of Japan is still cherished. Ine is one of the "most beautiful villages in Japan", and the beautiful sea, rich nature, and the beauty of the scenery created by the wisdom of the lives of the people living there drifts Ine's unique poetry.
