In the morning, your professional English speaking tour guide and driver with private car will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby. Then you will go to the Mutianyu Great Wall first (1.5 hours driving), which is further section in Beijing area and less crowed. This stretch of the Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of the year. It winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain, before turning sharply and dipping downhill. You'll have around two hours to explore the Great Wall. It takes around half an hour to hike up on foot, or you can choose to take the cable car or chair lift: it's also possible to toboggan.

After your tasty lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace. It takes a bit over an hour to get there from the Great Wall. The Summer Palace was the royal garden in the past time. There are beautiful many pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lake, and corridors. While the Long Corridor is the longest one in the world which is on the Genuineness World Records. You will also see famous Seventeen Arches Bridge, Qingyan Stone Boat, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill there. After the tour. Then drive you back to the hotel.

We had an amazing experience with Lucy, our tour guide. During our tour she told us in great details the history of the places visited, and also left us free to take pictures and ask questions. She also respected the time that each place deserved, not rushing at all, leaving us free to explore the places. In addition to a lot of good humor, Lucy managed to convey joy in what she does because she told us the historical facts with great enthusiasm. I could see that she took some care of us, leaving water and some candy inside the car, offering to take pictures and also taking us to a nice lunch. Thank you Lucy and team, for welcoming us so well, we had a really good day with you and our sweet driver. We know that you receive many different people everyday, but we hope you remember us tenderly, that couple with a little daughter from Brazil, in the same way we will for you. Wonderful Tour with Jeffrey and Xu We had a fantastic one-day private tour with Jeffrey as our guide and Xu as our driver. We just returned from a full day trip to the summer Palace and the wall. We were so fortunate to have the best guide we ever had in China. I’m saying that after multiple visits to China the past 25 years. Lucy was charming, knowledgeable, accommodating, and fluent in English. Very highly recommend using Lucy.
