    State of the Art Guided Tour; Book our State of the Art experience and, as part of a small tour group you’ll get to know the secrets of Sydney’s most exciting new architectural landmark – the Art Gallery’s SANAA-designed North Building – and encounter one-of-a-kind artworks created especially for our expanded campus. The experience also includes benefits, for the day of your visit, normally reserved for our members: 10% discount at the kiosk in the Welcome Plaza, featuring a takeaway menu developed by Gamilaroi Elder Aunty Beryl Van-Oploo, and at the Gallery Cafe in the South Building. It also includes access to the Members Lounge.

Well worth a visit

We are on holiday from the U.K. and we love art galleries. We were not disappointed this is really an excellent art gallery. Completely free unless you pay for the special exhibitions. You could spend all day here so much to see. Plenty of places to eat and drink. And a great shop. Well worth a visit.

Intresting ,modern art exhibits particularly Asian in a great building overlooking the harbour didn’t see any world renowned artists word of warning for anyone with limited time don’t go for coffee in the cafe it’s chaotic over 40 mins together acofee but other than that very positive
