Overview

A local guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous Somes Sound and Asticou Gardens! We will pick you up and weā€™ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands. See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including Cadillac Mountain, Rockefellerā€™s stone bridges & Carriage House, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. See Sand Beach surrounded by the famous pink granite coastline. We will continue out of the park to see the summer colony of Northeast Harbor and stroll through the famous Asticou Gardens. See gorgeous harbors, yachts and picnic boats. We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

We will pick up from any Downtown Bar Harbor lodging, no need to find parking! If you are staying outside of downtown Bar Harbor we will meet you at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center of Acadia National Park. There is a large parking lot. The Guides will meet you under the ... covered pavilion. If you are coming by CRUISE SHIP please book a tour start time at least 2 HOURS after arrival. Feel free to explore town before your tour, the guide can pick up from anywhere in downtown Bar Harbor. Read more ā–¼

Each stop an awe-inspiring experience

The beauty of Acadia NP at each viewpoint was incredible. We got to make many stops and take short walks on trails, and on a beach, and at the Wild Gardens. I loved it all, especially due to the fall foliage in full display while we were there. The guide gave us so much great information about the history, culture, and area. Jeff was an excellent driver-guide.

Our guide, Jeff was great. Had great stories and insight on Acadia as well as other places in Maine that we would never have known had we not taken the tour. We saw such beauty, and enjoyed the experience immensely. Afterwards, my family went to Bar Harbor to enjoy a gorgeous fall day, because of Jeffā€™s recommendations. Wonderful day!

Bill was an incredible guide, very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour! Picked us up in town early. Highly recommend this tour for anyone coming to bar harbor. We were limited on time and I feel like we got to see everything we wanted to.
