The tour ends at Jesus Gates located in Evans Street, not far from the Kazantzakis tomb.

Morosini Fountain (Lion's Fountain) (Pass By)
Heraklion had a number of fountains, but the most famous and impressive was the Morosini Fountain or the Lions as the locals call it. The fountain was inaugurated in 1628 and it was a feast for the eyes! The stories will take you back to that period and will reveal to you the magnificent decoration and the fate of the fountain after the ottoman conquest.
