Paddle through Hilton Head Island’s breathtaking salt marshes on an exciting 2-hour guided kayak tour! Led by expert naturalist guides, you’ll explore the rich wildlife, learn about the island’s history, and discover hidden gems along the way. Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike!

Check in at our outdoor kiosk desk in Shelter Cove Marina. We are located at the southwest corner of the marina next to the Ship Store and ELA's on the Water Restaurant

Itinerary

One of the best ways to see the Lowcountry is from a kayak! On this 2-hour guided tour you'll embark from Shelter Cove Marina and kayak in the Broad Creek. You'll receive a brief paddle clinic followed by a nature based tour of salt marshes, tidal rivers and creeks. Get the chance to spot dolphins, birds, take in the fantastic views and learn about the rich history and culture of Hilton Head. We encourage clothing appropriate for water activities and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen. Children 12 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult in a double kayak. We had an amazing time. Our guide Alexia took the time to make sure we felt comfortable with the kayaks. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the island and gave us some great recommendations for food and things to see. I would definitely recommend this experience.

We had a blast kayaking and learning about the ecosystem of the creek. A beau but windy day. Great equipment. Our guide whose name I can’t remember was phenomenal. (She moved from Atlanta 2 years ago). I highly recommend this kayak tour and the Outside company!
