Overview

Join us aboard one of the fastest and smoothest rides on the North Shore for the Whale and Marine Wildlife Tour. Our experienced crew will guide you to the best spots to see dolphins, shark, rays, sea turtles, and more. If you are here during Hawaii’s winter months, you may even see the mighty humpback whales on their annual migration. Our boats are fast and agile, allowing us to get to remote spots quickly. And with just 18 seats onboard, you get an intimate experience with the knowledgeable crew and captain.

CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES EARLY This trip leaves from Haleiwa - on the North Shore of Oahu, about a 1-hour drive from Waikiki. Enter Harbor and park in the nearest available public parking stalls. The Ocean Outfitters Hawaii boat, the Rambo II, will be docked at Slip 19 look for the YELLOW boat & sign

  • Waimea Bay

    Waimea Bay is located in Haleiwa on the North Shore of O'ahu in the Hawaiian Islands at the mouth of the Waimea River. Waimea Valley extends behind Waimea Bay. Waimea means "reddish water" in Hawaiian. During the winter months, the towering North Shore waves start here in Waimea Bay. The winter swells that roll into the famous Oahu North Shore beaches, generally top out at Waimea Beach Park, on the right-hand side of the bay.

    Surfing the Bay, along with Sunset Beach and the Banzai Pipeline, is considered almost a pilgrimage among many pro-surfers that fly in from all around the world to partake in the daring action. The fun generally begins when the National Weather Service issues high surf warnings for the North Shore.

Great tour, we booked the whale watching tour unfortunately we didn’t get to see any but we did saw some sharks and had a great experience all along the boat was nice not the biggest but I feel it was better than the other boats and the staff it’s awesome , Tyler was our capital along with this beautiful lady (I didn’t catch her name ) they were both awesome. This was the activity that my kids enjoyed the most from our trip hand down I will recommend it and let’s not forget the music it makes the experience even better .

It did not disappoint. From the get-go, our captains, Jules and Jen were committed to knowing what we hoped to see and experience and making it happen. We saw turtles, dolphins, and, yep, sharks, and they helped us learn about the North Shore and interesting information along the way. We loved that they had as much fun as we did and clearly loved their jobs. With kids from 24 - 15, everyone walked away with permanent smiles. Thank you for a beautiful memory that will last a lifetime.

I did this exact trip back in 2021 and had such a fun time, that I wanted to book it again with other family members on this trip. It was even better the second time. Captain Kevin was super amazing and put the group at ease with the massive waves. I was down for the massive waves and had fun jumping them. Saw sharks and it was the highlight of the trip.
