Overview

Our activity are in 1 of the most beautiful beaches of Andalucia, Zahara de los atunes. All so the weather is perfect for Beginner and Intermediate surf levels. We are the Activity nº 1 in Zahara de los Atunes. We are a family surf school, we know how important the children's are, so we care of security not only with be with them in the water, also the children´s learn to be independent and responsible with and in the sea.

Meeting points

Itinerary

First we meet on the surf school at 09.45 get wetsuit and surfboard with you teacher, and get moving in to the designated area to our school on the beach near the river of the Cachón River. Practical surf lessons in warm water and Warming Up Games Juices, energy bars and water Practical classes of surf in the water, Collecting plastic on the beach and environmental education, Stretches with teachers, Dressing rooms, bathrooms, back to school and pick up time.

Excellent teachers, very professional, super nice, focus on fun while still learning as much as possible. If bad weather, no charges even if you booked ahead of time. Safety and fun come before the financial aspect. I wish, all businesses would be run like Zahara Surf! Thanks Jon, Nathalie from your Berlin fans D, R, M, O :-)

We took a 4-hr surf class with our 6 and 8 year old kids, it was FABULOUS! I was nervous at first for myself and the kids but our instructors, Manuel and Salvador made us feel safe at all times! They were fun and respected our pace. Everyone at the school was attentive, caring, patient and very professional. Natalie answered our messages promptly and Jon was great at explaining everything we asked about. It was an unforgettable family activity to have done together and we will surely be coming back.

I got a private class as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Natalie and John were very kind and friendly and my boyfriend loved the class. It was genuinely a great day for both of us ! They both add this personal touch and really want to get to know you, it feels like hanging out with your friends more than anything:) I highly recommend the experience speaking for myself and my boyfriend !

If you want to learn surfing, come to Zahara Surf. Great location, not as crowded as Fuerteventura (concerning the surfers) and Jon and Natalie are great in pushing you forward and correcting you, always with a smile on their faces :-) I learned a lot and I can’t wait for the next time on the board! Thanks a lot!!

Jon is a very good instructor who can speak excellent English, Spanish & German. I made a lot of progress in only two lessons because of his teaching. Zahara Surf is more expensive than other schools, but the price reflects the quality and you will learn more quickly here than elsewhere. Jon está un instructor muy bien y el puede hablar inglés, español y alemán. Yo hice mucho progreso en solo dos lecciones debido a la enseñanza de Jon. Zahara Surf es más caro que otras escuelas, pero el precio refleja la calidad y aprenderás más rápido aquí que en otros lugares.
