Overview

We are 100% Alaskan owned & operated - Our focus is on giving you an amazing experience in Skagway on your trip to The Yukon and British Columbia. Unlike the other attractions in Skagway, we stop along the way and explain what you are looking at and its history to Skagway, Alaska, and the Yukon. Along the way, we'll see plenty of valleys, rivers, waterfalls, and Alaskan wildlife. The tour will continue up the Klondike Highway to a remote sled dog camp in the Canadian tundra, where you'll get to play with sled dog puppies & meet their trainers & handlers. You won't be rushed or limited to play time here! Our tour will pick up all guests and get you back in time for your ship. Please note: You wILL be leaving the United States and entering Canada, so a valid passport is required for most travelers. Foreign travelers need to ensure they are able to leave the US, enter Canada, and re-enter the US. Enhanced Drivers Licenses (US) are also accepted.

We pick up at every cruise ship port just past port security where the bus parking area is. We will arrive 10 to 15 minutes early and our representatives have RED signs that say Skagway Tours. ALL GUESTS, INCLUDING CHILDREN, MUST BRING PASSPORTS AND ANY OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION for all tours ... with our company. Photo copies ARE NOT permitted. Photo ID and birth certificates are not acceptable unless the guest is a U.S. or Canadian citizen. Read more ▼

Pitchfork Falls is a 2,000-foot cascade into the Skagway River, viewable from the Klondike Highway between Skagway, Alaska and the border with British Columbia. The falls goes underneath a railroad bridge of the White Pass and Yukon Railway

This is the main part of our tour! Here,, you'll get to play with future Iditarod & Yukon Quest champions - and even possibly meet musher Michelle Phillips or Ed Hopkins ! While at their camp, you'll get to play and pet with the dogs and have time with her handlers & trainers & learn about the races. The dog sled camp is also home to a small gift shop & restrooms. This tour does NOT include the educational discussion or sled activity - please book our other tour or ask about the upgrade once you board the bus.

Our tour guide Noah was kind, funny, very knowledgeable of the area. The puppies were so sweet and overall the whole experience was amazing! If you are in Skagway definitely worth doing!

The views were amazing, and the puppy play time was a blast. The best part was our tour guide Noah, who provided no shortage of interesting, hilarious, and captivating stories. He stopped at really fantastic scenic places for pictures, and was an all-around great guide. Anyone planning on taking this tour should ask for Noah.

Noah was a great tour guide and time with the sledding puppies was the highlight of the trip. Learning about the rigors of training to run the long distance races was fascinating.

Best tour we had all week! Noah was an amazing tour guide... he not only gave us great information, but also told us about his own life in Alaska. He made it a point to stop at great picture locations and organized a picture line to make sure everyone got the photos they wanted. The puppies were adorable, there so many we all got time to cuddle and even check out the full grown sled teams. Do NOT miss this tour!
