I am generally wary of guided tours regarding this dark side of history. It is not uncommon for some visitors to forego their manners in public spaces that deserve mostly silence and quiet. Remarkably, Jenny's tour was a paradigm of politeness, respect, and nuance. We left shocked by the recollection of the brutality of past events, yet hopeful that life can flourish in the darkest places.
