    The prototype of the Renaissance palace, it was once home to the Medici bankers, including Lorenzo the Magnificent, who made a fortune and funded the flourishing of the arts in fifteenth-century Florence.

    Next, follow your guide to the Cathedral Square. See the Baptistery; learn about its legendary origins and see its beautiful doors. Admire the dome built by Filippo Brunelleschi and hear all about its construction and the history of the Duomo.

Our tour guide Laura was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and fun! She showed us parts of the city we otherwise wouldn't have seen. She taught us about the history of the wine windows as well as historical buildings and sights along the way. You could tell she loved Florence and was super proud of the history.

Our experience and tour guide was amazing. She answered all questions that we had asked and was very welcoming and positive. I suggest this experience to anyone that is interested. Unfortunately I do not remember her name, but she was an amazing and made us feel very welcome and actually like she wanted to be there and enjoyed what she was doing.
