Come experience true vaquero Mexican culture and visit a gorgeous winery while we ride gentle horses through the Guanajuato Mountains. It is a truly unique experience that we have cultivated just for you and your group! Our knowledgeable and bilingual cowboys love to share the culture and history of the area throughout the ride, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home in Mexico. After your ride through the mountains and peaceful mountain towns we will stop to tour a unique local mountain winery and have a custom wine tasting session. Transportation from Guanajuato Center, your horseback ride, and your wine tasting is all included in this incredible experience.

Itinerary

  • Guanajuato

    Travelers will start with pickup in Guanajuato City and transportation to the mountain of Cristo Rey. From there, we will mount our gentle horses and enjoy a peaceful ride to a local winery with live charro music and entertainment from our talented cowboys. The winery will provide a tour of the grounds and a wine tasting of their incredible wines, and after you will be transported back to Guanajuato City.

Beautiful, accommodating and tranquil

Wow. I was hesitant as my partner is a lifelong horse rider and I rode a horse once 20 years ago, but the hosts made us so comfortable. The ride was smooth and the horses were so gentle. There’s no better way to enjoy the scenery of the Guanajuato hills than this. We were visiting from Australia and this was incredible. To finish off with an amazing winery tour with exquisite scenery was perfect. Highly recommend!!
