Overview

Guided tour of the farm structures near San Gimignano: vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard, olive grove, vinsantaia, historical cellar, collection of tools from the farming world. Tasting of 8 wines from our production: - "Casa Lucii" DOCG Vernaccia di San Gimignano; - 2 different vintages of "Mareterra" DOCG Vernaccia di San Gimignano reserve; - "Spicchio" IGT rosé Tuscan; - "Fuscelli" DOCG Chianti; - "Senarum" DOCG Chianti Colli Senesi, - "Arturo" IGT Tuscan Red. The tasting is accompanied by a taste of our organic extra virgin olive oil, cheese and cold cuts selection produced by local farms and accompanied by vegetables from the garden and finally will be served as dessert Vin Santo del Chianti "Curato" and Tuscan Cantucci.

Itinerary

A guided tour through the estate near San Gimignano starting with a Welcome Aperitivo and continuing with a visit through: vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard, olive grove, vinsantaia, historical cellar, collection of agricultural tools. Followed by the tasting of 8 organic wines from the production of the company accompanied by gastronomic specialties of Tuscan cuisine: cold cuts and cheeses from local farms, products of the garden and orchard of the property. Particularly our IGT Sangiovese "Arturo" paired with tailor-made artisanal chocolate pralines. And to finish Vin Santo del Chianti "Curato" and Tuscan Cantuccini.

Very warm welcome. Like being welcomed into a family home! A stroll around the property looking at the vineyards and hearing about the history was fascinating. Lunch with wine on the gorgeous patio was fabulous! A lovely experience.

We had an incredible experience at Casa Lucii!! We had Orlando as our guide and highly recommend him as he is the resident Lucii family member managing the winery. He was so informative and great at making personal connections. We even were running a little bit behind schedule and he was so accommodating and made sure we could still complete our tour. The wines were fantastic and the food pairings were equally a great. This is an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone staying in the Tuscany area!!

Still the highlight of our trips 5 days later. It was so much fun. Lorenzo was absolutely awesome to talk with. Our guide Alessio was so sweet and knowledgeable. The wine and food was so good as well as the setting. It was a bit chilly and they even had blankets for us. Such an awesome family feel. Incredible! A must go.

My fiancée and I had a wonderful time at Casa Lucii. We enjoyed learning about the farms history and receiving a tour of the property. We particularly enjoyed learning about the farm equipment and seeing the wine cellar. We really loved that it is a family run business. The wine was fantastic, we ended up purchasing bottles and shipping them home to share with our family at our wedding. The food pairings were prepared fresh and the salami was the best we had in Italy. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for quality wine, great food, and a family that is is proud of their farm!
