Overview

This is the perfect tour to visit Berlin if you arrive on a cruise ship in Warnemunde. Our driver will meet you directly at the ship and will bring you to Berlin where you will meet your personal guide for an about 6-hour tour before you head back to the ship. On this tour you will see all the main sights of the city, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, Checkpoint Charlie and the longest remaining strip of the Wall – called East-Side-Gallery. We will also visit with you the Holocaust Memorial, the Museum Island, and we get along the Victory Column, the Memorial Church and the Television Tower. During the tour there will be several stops to take pictures and short walks. For lunch, you may prefer a quick snack or, upon request, we will bring you to a restaurant with local cuisine to enjoy typical German food.

    The Brandenburg Gate is a historical city gate and became later the symbol of the once divided and reunited Germany.

    The historical city boulevard. Most buildings have been built in the 19th century under Prussian Kings, such as the State Opera House.

  • Kurfurstendamm (Pass By)

    The shopping boulevard of Berlin with exclusive stores.

  • The Holocaust Memorial - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

    This huge and impressive memorial is dedicated to the Jews that have been murdered under the Nazis. We will walk through this memorial with you.

  • Checkpoint Charlie

    Former checkpoint between the allied and Soviet sector when the city was divided by the Wall.

  • Memorial of the Berlin Wall

    Open-air documentation of the Berlin Wall. We will walk on the site of the former death strip where people grabbed tunnels to flee to the West.

  • Topography of Terror

    We will see the site where the once the headquarter of the Nazi terror regime used to be. Today there is an exhibition you will visit.

  • Reichstag Building

    See the seat of the German parliament with its impressing glass dome.

    The historical city center of Berlin with lots of restaurants offering local cuisine. Maybe you want to stop there for lunch.

Efficient and informative tour

Our driver Frank and our tour guide Tankred did a great job getting us to Berlin and ushering us around the city. Tankred, a university history student, was a wonderful guide, providing interesting perspectives on Berlin’s past and present. This was a great way to visit the city from our cruise, docked at Warnemunde.

Comprehensive and great tour of Berlin

The tour in Berlin was awesome and the tour guide, Stefan, was informative, engaging and enthusiastic. We received a very good overview of Berlin in 6 hours, including a great cultural visit to a beer garden. The trip from the pier was 2 hours and fifteen minutes both ways but that was the price we had to pay to experience this great tour in Berlin. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic private Berlin tour / shore excursion

We were on a Baltic Sea Cruise, and were looking for a private tour option that allowed for flexibility, given that we were traveling with children. The experience with Sightseeing Point was fantastic. A driver met us at the cruise terminal in Warnemunde and drove us 2.5 hours into Berlin, where we met our tour guide Stefan. Stefan guided us to various sites in Berlin, customizing our destinations based on our interests - the driver also stayed with us the entire day, transporting us (and Stefan) from site to site, and then finally drove our family back to the ship. Stefan was fantastic - he had so much information and insights to share. He was also incredibly patient with us, and facilitated some unusual stops that were inline with my kids' interests. Stefan, as well as the entire experience, receives an A++ from us!

Awesome Tour with Super-Guide Markus Dallman

I surprised my wife with a trip from Southern California to Berlin for our wedding anniversary. One of the highlights of our journey was our tour of Berlin with Markus including a fantastic lunch at a traditional German style restaurant. Great tour for those with an option...

Great tour for those with an option instead of the cruise line tours. We got to see all fo many of the local sites and attractions as we strolled the streets of the rejoined Berlin. Axel,our guide,was very knowledgeable and even recommended a great locals restaurant that was excellent with very moderate pricing.
