On this tour you will learn about the stories that run through the city of Medellín day by day, and what makes us Paisas, we will talk about economy, architecture, drug trafficking, innovation, urban planning, gastronomy, among a thousand more stories! You will be accompanied by certified guides, lovers of local history, so you will have the opportunity to travel to the past, to better understand the future. We visited the Plaza de las Luces, the old Plaza de Cisneros, we visited the heart of our metro transportation system, as well as the Coltejer building, Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, Junín, Plaza Botero, National Palace among other hidden gems in the center from the city. We will meet at the San Antonio metro station, next to the Medellín tram exit, on Bolívar Street. If you travel by metro, we recommend leaving via the escalators. From there you will recognize us more easily. We will have a blue umbrella with letters. oranges.

    We will talk about the history of the place and its importance for the city.

    In this place we talk about one of the most important exponents of local art Fernando Botero and how he develops his peculiar form of art.

    In this place we will see one of the most valuable art galleries in the city, touring one of the architectural jewels of the city.

Amazing experience and recommendations

Natalia is an incredible guide. She knows so much about Medellín and gives wonderful recommendations. She connected us with super fun classes and tours and we felt comfortable asking her any of our questions. She really transformed our trip. I cannot recommend her enough!

Historical Center and Gastronomy Walking Tours

We did the historic center walking tour with Juanjo and the gastronomy tour with Natalia. Both were incredible! Juanjo and Natalia were extremely knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the history and culture of the city. The food on the gastronomy tour was also delicious. Natalia knew all the vendors by name and shared a little about their stories with us. Highly recommend.

Walking tour of Medellin

For a last minute find, this tour was perfect. I did not have a lot of time for a longer tour so I found this to be perfect. It provided just enough of a historical perspective with relevant recent event history. We hit all the areas described and our tour leader Pipe was fabulous and very entertaining and informative. He was later joined by Mauricio who added to the tour and jointly finished the tour to our delight. Highly recommend. Keep in mind this is a walking tour but the frequent stops were perfect for my mother who made the entire trek- so it is perfect for older individuals who might be hesitant of doing a walking tour!
