Arturo was an excellent guide. Very informative and friendly. He spoke clearly and slowly in Spanish which was great for my practise. He also knew a little English too. He picked me up at my hostel and drove us to a few locations with towers so we could see the lines. As an optional extra he took me to a museum about the German woman who dedicated her life to the lines. This cost 8 soles. The museum was small and simple but there were some interesting displays and the room where she lived and all it's paraphernalia was preserved.

The Nazca lines are truly amazing & the Maria Reiche house museum is well worth a visit; if you intend to visit Peru I highly recommend that you visit this area - you will not be disappointed. I also recommend that you organise your tour through Get2peru.com. For us we had some confusion with the tour date we booked but a lady called Mily at this tour operator ensured, at very short notice, that we had a personal tour guide to bring us on our tour; Carlos was a lovely guy and very knowledgeable. Thank you again to Mily for all the trouble she went to, above and beyond the call of duty, and to Carlos for the great tour.....

We enjoyed alot it was a fabulous experience. I definitely recommended my friends do visit it. We took so many pictures.

We had a few hours before our bus to Arequipa in the evening when we stumbled upon Get2Peru near the bus station. After speaking to Carlos about wanting to see a bit more of Nazca he gave us a potential mini tour of what we could do. We decided to take the land tour (even though it was already late afternoon) and did his best to accommodate us given the time constraint of sunset. Saying this, we were able to see everything he had promised with detailed background information at each place. We were even lucky enough to watch the sunset on a hill spot in the nazca. I would highly recommend Carlos and his tour group to anyone that wants to learn and experience a real Nazca.
