Overview

From the gangway inside the harbour, local guides will take you to explore the "End of the World". With a personalised tour, avoiding the crowds, through Tierra del Fuego National Park, where we will visit: - Ensenda Zaratiegui, where we will be able to see the End of the World Post Office. (Closed down by P.N Argentina) - Lapataia Bay, with its landscape surrounded by mountains, its archaeological sites and the symbolic value of being the end of the Pan-American Highway. - Lago Acigami, a lake with impressive scenery and native flora and fauna. - Cañadon del Toro, here we will enjoy a picnic with some local delicacies. This is one of the quietest and least visited places in the National Park. We will also get to know the city of Ushuaia, as on our way we will see most of the city, houses, squares, schools, and the way the local population lives and is made up. At the end of the tour you can choose to get off in the city centre or we can take you back to the cruise ship.

It was wonderful to travel in a small vehicle vs. a bus load full of people. We beat the crowd in. Every stop. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun!

Our guide was fantastic. We had a great day out in Tierra del Fuego national Park. We saw a beautiful scenery. Very informative and well worth the time we spent. Would love to come back and spend more time in this area and would highly recommend this tour.

Great stops and a great guide

Gui was a great tour guide. The stops were all done with an appropriate amount of time for each. The smaller vehicle helped us to get going faster than the buses. I really appreciated the attention to detail in providing a gluten free snack for my wife.

Breathtaking scenery

We were 2 couples on a cruise with a port stop in Ushuaia. This shore excursion was one of the highlights of our cruise. The scenery in this national park is astounding! We booked directly with this company using their website. I prefer to support local tour companies so this way, all the profits stays local instead of 20-25% going to an overseas middleman(VIATOR, GetYourGuide,etc). Our guide and driver was the owner Frederico himself. His English was great and he gave us many little "extras" which was really appreciated. We got to see all the attractions like Lapataia Bay, End of World post office on Lake Roca, and even more gorgeous landscapes in an area of the park where big buses are not allowed. Frederico even gave us a quick tour of the town of Ushuaia at the end before dropping us off at the port. We were so lucky to see wildlife like the Andean Condor and the Andean red fox. It was mostly good value. It would have been even better value if we had gotten a more substantial snack like empanadas in addition to the sweets. And we would have liked to experience a small hike in the beautiful park especially in the area where the big buses were not allowed seeing as our group were younger and had appropriate footwear.
