Kyo-Cuisine TORIYONE
This famous store was founded in 1888 and is located in front of Matsuo Taisha in Arashiyama, Kyoto. Originating from poultry farms in the Matsuo area, it has been sublimated from traditional chicken dishes to Kyoto cuisine. It is a long-established Japanese restaurant known for its kaiseki style that specializes in chicken dishes, such as secret chicken soup and boiled live chicken that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Amanohashidate Rikyu Hoshi no Oto
Using plenty of ingredients from the rich seas of the Tango region, we offer innovative creative cuisine through food tracing without being bound by Japanese, Western, or Chinese frameworks.
Itinerary
We will be hosting a one-day gastronomy tour with the long-established Kyoto restaurant “Toriyone” at the remote palace “Hoshi no Oto,” which is close to the beautiful Amanohashidate.
This special event where you can enjoy fresh fish from the Tango region known as Kyoto of the Sea, wagyu and chicken dishes using plum edori, etc., and fresh local vegetables is a food experience that truly satisfies the five senses, offering creative dishes that bring out the essence of the ingredients.
It's a satisfying tour where you stop at Amanohashidate Winery before the meal and Kasamatsu Park, which overlooks Amanohashidate, after the meal.
