Overview

Pura Luhur Lempuyang is one of Bali’s nine directional temples and is of great significance to the Balinese culture and religion. Set atop Lempuyang mountain, it’s roughly halfway between Amlapura and Amed as the crow flies. The directional temples radiate around Bali with Pura Luhur Besakih (Mother Temple) at the centre — other directional temples include Uluwatu, Goa Lawah and Pasar Agung. This importance means you’ll often see Balinese families from around the island visiting in full ceremonial attire balancing large baskets of food atop their heads, with the purpose of getting it blessed by the priest at the temple at the top of the mountain. The secret Lempuyang Temple is one of the most spiritual sites for Balinese Locals. But the gate of the temple also make for gorgeous photograph with Mt. Agung standing tall in the backdrop. Lempuyang Temple

The tour will be visit Lempuyang Temple Gate, the gate of the heaven for to see sunrise, the higkight of the tour, then Tegalalang rice terrace, Taman Ujung water garden, Candidasa beach, Tenganan Village the old vilage of Bali, last stop will be at Goa Lawah Temple, temple of the million fruit bats.

Tirta Gangga water garden was built in 1948 by the King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. This water garden was constructed in a very unique architecture of Balinese and Chinese styles. Tirtagangga Water Garden scratches on a 1,2 Hectare area, which consists of three complexes. The first complex lies on the lowest level of this area, where we can find two ponds and a water tower. The second complex in the middle level is the location where we can find swimming pools; while in the third part, which is the main complex, we can find the rest house of the King. the highlight of this place you can take a picture with many colourful fishes or koi fishes.please bring money or cash to purchase fish food to fee the Koi fish to take beautiful pictures.

Ujung Water Palace

Magnificent Water Palace in Bali's East. Taman Ujung ‘water palace’, with its complete and official designation of Taman Sukasada Ujung, is located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency. It is the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late raja of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline. The site suffered near devastation by showers of hot ash following the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963, and also weathered an earthquake in 1979. Restoration efforts throughout the decades made way to its current splendor, and it continues to appeal to both locals and visitors. The Taman Ujung complex has a combination of Balinese and European architecture throughout three large ponds connected by long elegant bridges and pathways. Tenganan Ancient Village

Tengenan Village, the village is occupied by Bali Aga people the original Balinese who arrive in Bali Bali before Majapahit arrival. Pandan war (Ngusaba Sambah Festival), will be held around May or June and Double ikat or Gringsing cloth well known from this village. The Village surrounded by the hill, most people in this village make textile well known with Geringsing Cloth.

Pura Goa Lawah

Bat Cave Temple (Goa Lawah Temple), the temple located in Pesinggahan Village, Klungkung regency. The temple built in 11th century by priest Mpu Kuturan or Mpu Raja kerta, this priest who created 4 concepts of temple in Bali. This is one important temple located near the ocean, specially use for Nyegara Gunung ceremony (Nyegara it's mean Ocean and Gunung it's mean Mountain). The Balinese people use Goa Lawah Temple for the ocean temple and Besakih Temple for the mountain temple. The cave in the cliff fully with thousand of the bats.

I met with Md Eras, who guide me to take from my hotel around 3:30 am in the night and we went to see the gate of heaven...he is so helpful and the gratitude he shows which was extra ordinary. He even took some short video of us and later he sent me thru WhatsApp like a movie.....it will be less if I only thank him. Eras is very gentle in nature and having good knowledge of Bali. Thank you Eras and I will definitely share my view in my friend circle to connect you and Bali Bliss when they wish to come.

We went for a day tour with the driver appointed by Bali BlissTours. As assigned our driver was there to pick us from our hotel before time at 3:00 am!! He drove wonderfully early in the morning and was very professional. We had an engaging conversation through the 2.5 hrs trip to lampanyang temple/ gates of heaven. .. his prudent thinking allowed us to reach the temple before the crack of dawn and allowed us to avoid the long ( apparently an hr and more waiting time) queue to click 5 pics with the backdrop of the active volcano... he drove us to all the places we requested and all in all it was a very good trip. Beware you need to carry cash for all your payments as they tour operator does not accept credit cards( they accept payment through PayPal).

An amazing Bali Experience with Bali Bliss Tour

After reading great reviews online we initially booked 2 days tour with Bali Bliss Tours with a flexibility to add on more trips depending on how we go. It was easily organised by Nyoman. On Day 1 we were greeted by Komang Gunawan who was our driver and tour guide, who spoke good english and explained how the day would go for us. They had booked us 2 cars which was comfortable and took us to rice terraces, Ulan Danu Beratan, Wanagiri Hills and Handara Gates. It was amazingly managed by Komang Gunawan and Alit to the finest detail. After this we just stuck to booking all the next tours with them. We did the 3 AM Sunrise tour to Gates of Heaven and East Bali tour which was mesmerizing. Komang and Alit were at the gates of our villa at 2:30 AM. They were amazingly professional, helpful and caring at the same time. Our visit to bali couldn't have been memorable without Bali Bliss tours and without our guides Komang and Alit.
