Discover species ambassadors from Florida and around the world. • Walk through a free-flying bird aviary with a mangrove tunnel, native fish, river otters, and alligators in the Wetlands of Florida habitat. • See sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, Goliath grouper, and more in the 500,000-gallon panoramic Coral Reef Gallery. • Get in and on the water! Jump into SeaTREK, a guided underwater walking tour for non-divers ages 10+, and set sail in Tampa Bay on the Wild Dolphin Cruise.* The Aquarium is in downtown Tampa on the free streetcar route and between 2 cruise ship terminals. Plus, easily access the Riverwalk, historic Ybor City, Sparkman Wharf, restaurants, and more! The Florida Aquarium is a non-profit organization committed to saving marine wildlife. Informative, interesting, well-presented aquarium.

One of the prettiest aquariums we have ever visited. We couldn’t help but notice the youthfulness, friendliness and competency of staff. We saw an amazing presentation on the shark and there were other presentations on different areas in the museum. They had touch pools where we could touch a stingray and also some jellyfish.

Lots to see! We really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. It wasn’t overcrowded so you could take your time and really check out the exhibits. We were there on a chilly day, so opted not to do a dolphin cruise but that would be fun next time. Just valet park because it’s the same price as the parking garage. We thought we’d save a few bucks parking ourselves. Cruised the entire parking garage only to find out there wasn’t one spot left and it was the same price

This is a wonderful cquarium. The number of exhibits and acquarium tanks is amazing. The habitats created are so detailed and well-maintained. What made this acquarium vist different from others visited was the staff. The staff are amazing. They are so helpful and engaged!

We had 5 hours to do something between getting off of our cruise and our flight home. The aquarium is just across the street from the cruise port, and they store luggage for no charge. The staff are very friendly and they are well trained and knowledgeable. The aquarium is easy to walk thru and has many interactive exhibits. The cafe has a variety of delicious options (try the truffle fries!); prices are a little high, but the portions are generous. We loved it and will visit again if we're in the area. A 20 minute cab or Uber to the airport runs $25-35.
