While exploring the history of MLK's life and legacy, you’ll venture off the main path to see great skyline views of Atlanta. And you'll learn about the changes made in recent times to this ever-evolving neighborhood, peppered with historical landmarks. Towards the end of the journey, you'll go through the funky Edgewood neighborhood, where the vibe changes significantly. The tour ends by paying tribute to a few more historical spots and exploring a quaint museum dedicated to Madame CJ Walker, the first female self-made millionaire. Enriching Fun

Published on May, 2024

The audio directions were very clear. I enjoyed the history Phil shared, and leave Atlanta with a deeper appreciation of the civil rights movement.

Self-paced walking tour is affordable and fun!

This self-guided tour was awesome!! It was a perfect way to see the sites and neighborhoods that were pivotal in MLK's life as well as other Civil Rights icons. The pace was great and the app was super helpful. It even told me a few times when I turned the wrong way so those that have never been to ATL - never fear!! They won't let you get lost. I loved the whole thing! Sad that a few places mentioned (the Church bar) was not open when I walked through but other than that it was so interesting and fun. Thanks for an affordable and self-paced tour.

Just being in the place where Dr King lived and where he was laid to rest. This was a great experience one that I’ll cherish for a lifetime.
