The eastern gate in Delft, Netherlands, is an example of Brick Gothic northern European architecture that was built around 1400. • Markt (Pass By)

The Markt in Delft , in the Dutch province of South Holland , is one of the largest historic market squares in Europe, measuring 120 by 50 meters . The square is almost rectangular and is bordered on the short sides by the Nieuwe Kerk in the east and the town hall of Delft in the west. The connecting side streets also belong to the Market. The Markt was set up on a silted creek ridge , raised by a creek of the tidal channel de Gantel , and is therefore one of the highest parts of the Delft city center. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
