Diogo is a fantastic guide. He came to our rescue when our original tour company let us down with a no-show.... we were getting off a cruise looking forward to a day out, then the letdown happened.... then, fortunately, Diogo made himself available, and though we ended up later, that is the original start... he made every effort to make sure we had a good time.....he has a lot of experience handling tours and his manners and English were very good. He is also very knowledgeable about the city and its surroundings. We visited the Santos Football club, the Pele Museum, the tram station, and the coffee museum. We also drove along the waterfront and saw the canals. We did a diversion to the Pele Masoleum to visit his final resting place. Apparently, the choice of the 9th floor was because Pele wanted to honour his father, who wore number 9, and this cemetery is the closest to the Santos football club. We also stopped by a very old traditional coffee roaster, saw their traditional methods and equipment, and then enjoyed some Vermilion Bourbon expresso before heading back to our cruise ship.... This company is good and trustable. We felt safe with Diogo too.
