French Apéro is not so much about eating and drinking, but about taking pleasure from tasting; also about enjoying nice company and gossiping. Book this small-group tour with a guide, who is a global foody, to have an engaging and educational French Apéro experience. - Pre-selected restaurants with pre-selected tastings and a small picnic at sunset at a picturesque location (*subject to weather conditions); - Learning the best wine-tasting techniques that will take your wine tasting experience to a totally new level; - Understanding the culture of pairing wines and food while tastings iconic French wines, delicacies and local specialties (minimum 4 pairings); - Laughing about some local legends and gossips; - You may take photos from the spots that are located off the main touristic paths.

Itinerary

  • Garibaldi Square

    We'll meet at the Place Garibaldi with a statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi and I will tell you about "the birth of Nice"

  • Old Town

    We'll stroll through the narrow streets of the Old City (Vieille Ville) with some stops at pre-selected restaurants. Then we'll take a path, not known to most tourists, towards the Castle Hill.

    40 minutes

  • Cimetiere du Chateau

    We'll pass by the historical cemetery with many famous people of different religions. If it is open we'll take a quick look inside.

    2 minutes

  • Parc de la Colline du Chateau

    We'll take some pictures by a waterfall (Cascade du château) and then we'll settle for a picnic.

    1 hour

  • Belanda Tower

    After the picnic is finished you may stay at the Bellanda Tower to enjoy the sunset while finishing your last glass of wine.
