Culinary Diversity

The cultural diversity of food in Berlin is unlike any where else in the world. The diversity routinely seen within a few blocks in multiple ares in Berlin is fantastic!

Savory, special and spectacular food tour!

Loved this tour and thoroughly enjoyed the distinct dishes and flavors of Kreuzberg! Uygur introduced us to a range of new foods, as well as his cultural and local stories that made the tour one of my favorites. Taking away many great memories and now looking for Turkish restaurants back at home!

Our guide was engaged and eager to introduce our group of seven to the Kreuzberg and its culinary delights. He graciously answered our many questions and taught us much about Turkish food. We could never have found the delightful small restaurants we visited on our own. We ate until we could eat no more! Highlights were the Turkish bread, manti (Turkish ravioli) and stuffed grape leaves. We finished with pistachio baklava with Turkish coffee. It was a perfect first visit to the Kreuzberg neighborhood.

Fabulous afternoon learning about food, culture, history, street art, opera work from Michele. Great walking tour of the diverse kreuzberg neighborhood. Coffee, veggie Vietnamese, kebab, fancy fries and chocolate, and the Thursday markthalle Neum (food market) were just some of our stops. Kept us all, including the teenager engaged. A pleasure and highlight of our trip.
