Slashers, specters, and Hollywood stars all mix together on the Strip... sometimes with deadly results. This walking tour is a deep dive into the true crime and ghost stories of Sunset Boulevard. You'll hear about gangsters like Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and see where they "took care of the competition." Tales of Charles Manson, the Wonderland Gang, and Sunset Killers will keep you up at night. And, hopefully you won't go home with a spirit after passing some of LA's most haunted locations! No other tour focuses on the exploring the notorious history of Sunset Blvd like this one. We will meet at the corner with the stairs. This is at the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights. There is a parking lot at the mall and several in the surrounding area.

    We begin the tour with a look back at the Wonderland Gang murders. How did one of the the most brutal crimes in LA history happen and who was involved? We will also discuss Ramon Novarro and the Zankou Chicken Murders in this area!

  • The Sunset Trocadero Lounge (Pass By)

    This will be one of several stops where we discuss the gangster of old LA. Hear about the final moments of the "Ice Cream Blonde" Thelma Todd and her run in with "Lucky" Luciano.

  • Sunset Strip (Pass By)

    Now you're really getting into the Sunset Strip. Hollywood moguls and stars come to play at these world famous clubs and hotels. Some play a little too hard...

  • Comedy Store (Pass By)

    The biggest names in comedy all cover the exterior of the Comedy Store. On any given night, you could see superstar comedians trying new jokes or discover a comic to watch. But what was here before the store? And do the violent actions of the past carry on today? Let's find out!

  • Sunset Plaza (Pass By)

    We continue down more of the Strip while discussing Charles Manson, the Sunset Killers, and the curse of "Rebel Without a Cause" (we will even go to the spot where a Hollywood star took his final walk.)

Fantastic tour -highly recommend.

I bought this for my teen son as a Christmas present. We both loved it. Chris was our tour guide and is a fountain of knowledge trivia and fun tidbits. He is a fantastic storyteller, and the two hours flew by. My teen is mature enough for the content but beware there’s quite a bit on sex and drugs. Highly recommend the Sunset Crime and guest tour.
