Early morning pick up and enjoyed the sunrise. It was unique as there were hundreds of balloons going up all at the same time. Enjoyable safe and memorable experience.

An item checked off my bucket list

This was absolutely a highlight of my trip and a major bucket list moment. The trip was cancelled for the day of booking due to high wind but rearranged for the next day. If you have a short trip in Luxor, maybe book for the first day just in case. Pickup was smooth, there were no refreshments as stated but it was too early for me to care. Pilot Omar was informative and rotated the balloon to ensure everyone could see all the sights. It was a smooth "Egyptian landing" and back to the hotel by 7.30 for breakfast. I would 100% do again.

The balloon prep, ascent & 360 degree views. Pilot was great, guide was good. My only complaint is that our ride was postponed by a day, the reason given was the weather & wind factor. But 37 balloons flew that morning. Overbooked? Nonetheless, ride was memorable.

Fantastic balloon flight

We were collected promptly at 5am directly from our boat and transferred to the launch field, one of the first to arrive. We were briefed on safety, and chatted to other travellers. After flight approval was gained, there was an entertaining rush as all balloon crews raced to get their balloon into the air. Then we were called to climb into our balloon pods and up we went. Our pilot was very experienced and called out heights and things to see. Seeing other balloons around us and sun rise over the Nile was spectacular! Eventually we slowly drifted down to a landing field where the crewe was waiting, and the pilot landed gently. We were transferred to our bus and dropped off at a cafe we had requested. Definitely a holiday highlight!
