We love horses and nature and are very happy to share it with you! You´ll find a unique location, an incredible virgin beach and guides who feel like friends. You don´t have experience in horse riding? No worries, a free initiation class just before the ride is included, enjoy safe horses and an incredible sundown!

Meeting points

The Trafalgar Polo Club is situated between the villages El Palmar and Zahora. It is easy to find, we will send you the location where to leave the road via whatsapp (google maps will send you via a parallel street from which it is more difficult to access)

Itinerary

Enjoy the incredible sundown right over the ocean! The beautiful Mangueta beach offers the perfect scenery. Either on a real polo horse or on a classic Spanish horse you´ll experience a very special feeling: a mixture of freedom, peace and happiness. You are still a beginner and a bit concerned if you can manage the horse? No problem, there are horses for all levels and a free iniciation class just before the ride is included in your experience, so you´ll feel safe and comfortable with your horse. The overall experience (including class and a drink :-)) is around 1,5 hours, the beachride itself around 1 hour. Welcome! Are you an experienced rider? Please bare in mind that the afternoon beachrides are walking beachrides suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders. If you want to do a faster pace beachride please tell us in advance, we are happy to have a look if we can put you on a morning training hack.

Magical experience

This is a great ride along the beach. I took 2 rides, one to El Palmar (in the morning) and one up to the lighthouse of Zahora (sunset). It was my first time riding on a beach and I was a bit apprehensive at first. However, the experience was magical. The horses are super gentle, even for inexperienced riders, but respond extremely well to more experienced riders. I loved the casual atmosphere at the stables. The guides/trainers are very friendly, explain every detail and really take care of you. I can highly recommend this ride for a quick get away.

Beautiful sunset ride on calm and beautiful horses. Our guide and owner was very accomplished and friendly. We enjoyed the leisurely pace along the beach and waters edge.

This was an excellent experience. The family that runs it were very nice and it appears they take very good care of the horses. The horse was very docile and easy to manage.

Amazing ride on the beach in the sunset. There was a large group of us but all the horses moved amazingly and the instructors were great! Easy and relaxing ride, thank you very much!

It's off the beaten path and a very casual operation. It's probably not the best for first timers (unless you speak Spanish), but my wife and I have only ridden horses a couple of times and this was a magical experience. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the sunset was stunning. The horses are used for polo during the day so they are healthy and fairly well trained. We took lots of great photos and will always have fond memories of this excursion. Well worth it if you are in the area.
