Are you ready for the experience of a lifetime!? Join us on an exhilarating exploration of St. Lucia’s rugged and picturesque northern coastline. Traverse backroads and beaches in comfort and effortless style on your custom-built, eco-friendly, big-wheel electric scooter! This unique machine is powerful, fun and EXTREMELY easy to ride. If you know how to ride a bicycle, then getting the hang of this will be a breeze. You can't help but think of sunny skies, sandy beaches and good times when you see the unique Caribbean-friendly design of the iRide model iR2, your chariot for the day. This tour will take you from your pickup location to Gros Islet, Pigeon Island, Cas-en-Bas view point and then on to the centuries old Pirate haven of Rodney Bay before heading back to your pickup point. You will learn lots of valuable history at each location and be blown away by the breathtaking views during this open-air riding adventure! (Must have a valid drivers license).

Itinerary

  • Reduit Beach

    Your first stop is the beautiful and world-renowned beach of Reduit. At this point your guide will address any queries you have regarding your first ride on the scooter and then proceed to provide you with fun tidbits about the location. It takes 5 minutes to get to this point.

  • Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium

    After departing Reduit Beach you will head off along the back-roads of Rodney Heights and Monchy stopping to talk about season local fruit trees on the way. Your destination is the local Cricket Stadium, named after the once Captain of The west Indies Cricket Team - Darren Sammy. A St. Lucian by birth. This portion of the ride takes roughly 20 minutes.

  • Gros Islet

    Next you'll visit the the quaint fishing village of Gros-Islet and marvel at its old 17th century chapel and small beachfront where fishermen can be seen launching their boats in anticipation of the days catch. This ride takes about 10 minutes.

  • Pigeon Island National Landmark

    Pigeon Island is a National Heritage Site and was the home of the famous Pirate lord Jame Du Bois (or Wooden Leg). Learn about the history of the causeway and the site itself before stopping on the beach to sample local delicacies. Before you depart, cool off with a drink of fresh spring water. 5 Minute ride.

    Ride through the upscale community of Cap-Estate (knows as the Beverly hills of St. Lucia) to discover one of the islands hidden gems! We won't ruin the surprise. This ride takes about 15 minutes.

    Swing through the Rodney Bay Marina on your way back to the starting point. Learn the stories history of the area and possibly even catch a glimpse of some Celebrity Yachts. 15 Minutes ride time.

Excellent tour for the adventurous!

My husband and I took this tour after booking with Sandals. Brad, our tour guide, was amazing. Friendly, and professional, he had clear communication and expectations for keeping us safe while having fun. We rode on the left side of the road - a first for us but Brad was very clear in directing us as well as managing the other traffic. We rode through curves and hills and finished at Pigeon Island - a must see and Saint Lucia’s national monument. There is a driving test at the beginning to demonstrate that you can handle the scooter. Not everyone passes so be prepared to ride with a guide if you lack confidence and/or minimum skill levels. In all I would highly recommend this tour if you’re adventurous and have some skill with scooters or electric bikes. It was very fun and lots of beautiful scenery.

Fun motor scooter outing !

Bryan & Germaine were excellent tour guides. Friendly, professional, safety-minded, knowledgeable, and FUN!! Our group of 3 couples had a great time motoring around the northwest side of the island, touring up in to the hills and catching some amazing views. We stopped a few different times for breaks and historical insights, and the last break at the beach near Pigeon Island, to take photos and grab some refreshments if you wanted. Overall, great tour company to take excursion with. And Chris our shuttle driver was friendly and helpful as well. We were picked up/returned at our Sandals lobby. Thanks for a fun outing!!

Great tour!! Brad was our guide - he was awesome and very patient with teaching me how to drive my scooter! It was a short excursion so it didn’t take up the entire day leaving us the afternoon at the beach and pool. We got to see a lot of the beautiful island and hear about its history. Overall, it was great and we would definitely do it again.

Gros Islet Scooter Tour

My husband and I had an absolute blast on this tour. Our guide, Brad, was wonderful. The scooters did take a bit of getting used to...they do not handle like a dirt bike or motorcycle, but once you figure it out it's a fun experience. I would definitely do this again!!

Brad was an awesome tour guide! We had lots of fun on this tour and was the highlight of our trip. Was cool to be able to drive around in their towns and have that experience! Would recommend taking this tour was so much fun!
