For the most comprehensive tour in town, join us on our Signature Downtown St. John’s Walking Tour. From Water Street and Duckworth Street to Bannerman Park and the Colonial Building, you will be captivated by the oldest city in Newfoundland & Labrador, its fabulous architecture, and warm welcoming people. Along the way you will be entertained by some great stories. Learn why our government sits on the left, how we turned yarn into nurses, and where the city's bright colours came from. You’ll learn all of this and a whole lot more when you take a walk with us on our Signature Tour. Note: We are located in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador.     We'll make several short stops on Water Street where we'll tell you some interesting facts and tidbits about the shops and landscape.

  • Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (Pass By)

    Just how many people are buried in the cemetery here? We'll never know...and we'll tell you why.

  • Bannerman Park (Pass By)

    Find out what makes this park a hub of activity in the summer.

  • Colonial Building

    Learn why our ruling party sits on the left and what happened here in 1932.

I loved this tour, it was very interesting and informative and our tour guide certainly knew his stuff! There is lots of history in St. John's for sure and I have no reservations in recommending this tour!

This is a great tour. Dave is knowledgeable, personable, amusing, and a terrific guide. Saw lots, learned lots, and got exactly the historical and cultural contexts that we look for in such a tour. We would recommend it without hesitation. We booked it knowing it was a walking tour in St John's so anticipated steps and some inclines! Many thanks to Dave PS. if there is any demand for a tour that focuses exclusively on past and present harbour life/industry we would sign up for that

The knowledge of history our guide knew was incredible. The sights we saw were remarkable. We highly recommend this tour. Note: walking approximately 4 miles, a lot of which was up steep grades. Wear good foot ware.
